WIVOLA ROOMS Wivola has 4 tiled stoves. They are all dated at the beginning of the 1900. The house was ready 1911 and the stoves are individual each. Finland had 4-5 factories which manufactured tiled stoves then. My journey is to find out where the stoves came from. One stove is at the attic in the oldest building of the estate, the small red storage house. These stove ceramics are white. Maybe it will be built up one day! THE GREEN ROOM The green room has green tiled stove.
SWEET TASTE! We found a soul mate at Waxholma! Waxholma is situated 20 miles from Stockholm, four hours sailing! The cute cafe has visitors from all sailing boats, summer visitors. Waxholm is the place to be during summer in Sweden. This usually takes place before anchoring to Visby. Last summer Joonas was with us and we ate a huge cake each of us. One strawberry, one chocklade and one almond cake. The Ladies behind the palce won a prize at new comer entrepreneurs in Sweden.
Dreaming of the next summer sheep and having a pop up cafeteria in June at our garden. POP UP CAFE needs only a lot of baking early in the morning, few cakes, a lot of coffee and tea. More fantastic photos coming up from all the cafes and bakeries at Gotland! #books #reading
